Moonrise Photography Workshop - Dec 6th, 2022 in Phoenix, AZ
Join me on an epic moonscape photography adventure! I do all the planning for a thrilling moon shoot, you join me for the ride! I’ll show you planning techniques, and teach you everything you need to know to come away with beautiful photos of the near full moon rising over Arizona’s iconic Superstition Mountains. You can get an idea of my moon photography here. Within a few days after purchasing, I’ll send an email including information about the location we’ll be visiting, as well as a few other details about our trip. Class size will be capped at 5. Duration:
Approximately 2.5 hours, with meetup in Apache Junction at 3:00pm. Before the moon comes up, we’ll spend time learning about planning and executing moon photos, then we’ll make sure you have everything setup for the special moment!
What’s Included:
•Photography instruction and guidance in the field, including:
-Planning apps and how to use them to find and plan photos with precision.
-Choosing the best camera settings based on lighting and other conditions to get the best exposure possible.
-I’ll be sharing knowledge and tips about getting the most out of a moon shoot, and will be able to answer any questions you have along the way.
What to bring:
•DSLR or mirrorless camera with recommended lens 300mm or greater.
•Tripod
•Remote shutter recommended but not required
Refunds & Cancellations:
Cancellations made at least 2 days (48 hours) in advance of the Moon Mission will receive a full refund, minus a 7% processing fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the trip will receive a 50% refund, minus a 7% processing fee. If I cancel the class due to stormy weather or some other major obstacle, a full refund would be given. If we arrive at the scene and the moon is not visible due to clouds, you can join any future class at no additional cost until the moon is visible. I cannot be responsible for wind, weather, rain, heat, or other unforeseen circumstances. I reserve the right to change locations, cancel, or reschedule trips due to unsafe or extreme conditions.
